Maker Centered Framework

We are creating research-based, maker-centered frameworks and resources to help public libraries:

  • Equitably support adults’ varying priorities and values in makerspaces and making activities.
  • Evaluate their programs and services in light of makers’ differing interests and needs.
  • Identify improvements to better serve their communities and foster more equitable access to making and makerspaces.
  • Communicate the benefits adults can take away from making activities.
